Background

The GreenTech Alliance aims to embrace all leading greener technology efforts and provide a platform in which stakeholders can communicate, promote and share approaches and accomplishments.

Objectives

• Establish and facilitate a member alliance of greener technologies and products that benefit the environment to accelerate and support their implementation, advancement and adoption

• Stimulate and support growth, including in the area of employment, in this evolving and expanding technological and production field

• Identify, endorse and promote existing and emerging greener innovative technologies and related products to all sectors including the general public

Memberships

GreenTech Alliance invites all companies with a business objective/ focus on the development of greener technologies to join and together we build a strong knowledge base for the greater good.

Companies, regardless of size and country of origin, can apply for membership by filling in an online membership form and an essay on the elaboration of corporate objectives and goals towards a greener future.

Meet the needs of society in ways that can continue indefinitely into the future without damaging or depleting natural resources.

Source Reduction
Avoid or significantly reduce waste and pollution by changing patterns of production and consumption.

Cradle to Cradle Design
End the “cradle to grave” cycle of manufactured products by creating products that can be reclaimed, re-manufactured or re-used.

Innovation
Develop and continue to enhance environmentally preferable alternatives to technologies – whether fossil fuel or chemical-intensive agriculture – that have been demonstrated to damage health and the environment.
