Non-domestic water use accounts for approximately 45% of the total water consumption in Hong Kong. In order to enhance water efficiency in the non-domestic sector, the Water Supplies Department and Green Council have organised the ECH2O - Enterprises Cherish Water Campaign for the commercial and industrial sectors since 2022, which creates a collaboration platform for organisations to cherish water together through different initiatives including signing of charter, appointment of cherishing water manager, education & promotion, equipment improvement and recognition programmes, etc.
