  • Raise the awareness about SDGs and utilise it as a tool for organisations to practice a sustainable business

  • Provide a tool to recognise their current good practices, identify other potentials areas and opportunities in meeting SDGs

  • Set more meaningful goals and communicate more effectively about its commitment to sustainable development, while aligning with the SDGs

ELIGIBILITY

Every Green Council Corporate Member can partake “Goal for SDGs” for FREE. A fact sheet will be provided after completion of the engagement exercise.

Established in 2015, the UN SDGs are 17 global goals designed to address current global challenges, including those related to climate change, social inequality and well-being, aiming to create a more sustainable future for all by 2030.

The 17 SDGs are integrated - that is, they recognise that action in one area will affect outcomes in others, and that development must balance social, economic and environmental sustainability.

Note:

While not all 17 SDGs will be equally relevant for an organisation, the extent to which your organisation can contribute to each SDGs will depend on many factors. Nonetheless, GOal for SDGs will explore whether current business operations and practices match with the UN SDGs in a holistic view
